Kindy at Uniting Early Learning!

Our government-approved Kindergarten program is designed for children in the year before they start Prep. Led by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, our Kindy program nurtures each child’s development—socially, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually—through play-based, hands-on learning.

We focus on helping your child:

  • Build friendships and develop strong social skills
  • Grow independence and confidence through choice and routine
  • Explore creativity, imagination and self-expression
  • Strengthen emotional resilience and communication skills
  • Develop early literacy, numeracy and problem-solving abilities

We believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported and known. That’s why we work in close partnership with families to create nurturing, inclusive environments that celebrate each child’s identity, curiosity and capacity to learn.

Our kindy program follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) equipping your child for a smooth transition to school while they learn through play, build friendships, and explore their sense of self and the world around them.

One Place. Many Milestones

At Uniting Early Learning, your child can enjoy a seamless early learning journey—from as young as six weeks old through to Kindergarten—all in one trusted and familiar setting.

This continuity of care allows children to grow alongside familiar faces, routines and educators who know them well. It supports their emotional wellbeing, builds confidence and provides a strong sense of security as they prepare for school.

For families, it’s a simpler, more settled experience—especially if you have more than one child. With childcare and Kindy in the same location, there’s no need to change centres at age four, and siblings can stay together in one place. One drop-off, one pick-up, and a shared routine that works for your whole family.

More Than Just Kindy

At Uniting Early Learning, we offer sessional Kindergarten within a long day care setting—giving you the flexibility to add extra care that fits around your family’s schedule. Whether you’re looking for traditional Kindy hours or longer days to support work and life commitments, we’re here to help—without compromising on quality care or genuine connection.

If your child turns 4 by 30 June in the year before Prep, they may be eligible for 15 hours of Free Kindy per week (up to 600 hours annually) through a government-approved program. Additional hours may also be covered by the Child Care Subsidy.
