Why choose child care at UEL Enoggera?
A special place for your child
Uniting Early Learning Enoggera was established in 1974 by the Uniting Church to cater for the needs of young children and their parents in the local Enoggera community. Our goal is to create a stimulating, nurturing and challenging learning environment where children can develop to their full potential, with a sense of belonging, positive self-esteem, wellness and a loving heart.
We also feature
- We’re Small- We cater for a maximum of 27 children. Offering an environment that is comfortable and familiar to our children where they are supported by educators who can spend a little extra time with each child.
- Fun incursions and excursions- We get regular visits from our friends in the community including local police, ambulance and fire brigade and local library.
- Mixed-age groupings – Our small inclusive group enables siblings to be together, or safely within sight of one another. It also enables mentoring and fast learning through peer-based learning.
- Natural outdoor play – Our centre has a leafy outlook containing lush natural gardens. Our stimulating outdoor play area includes a yarning circle, watercourse over a creek bed, a sensory garden and veggie patch, along with a compost and recycling centre.
- Adventurous Play – We encourage children to be adventurous. Being brave and trying new things helps children to build confidence in their own abilities, be resourceful and resilient. As well as develop physical strength, coordination and gross motor skills.
- School Readiness – We also stay in touch with local primary schools, helping to smooth the transition for children going from Kindy to Prep, Our children go on to enrol at a number of local schools including:
Enoggera State School, Everton Park State School, Stafford State School, Our Lady of the Assumption, Northside Christian College, Queen of Apostles. - Fostering community connections – We host a number of family events throughout the year. We have strong connections with community groups, the local church, and encourage family involvement such as special persons days, grandparent morning teas, kindergarten celebrations and more.
