The old play equipment has gone and the diggers and trucks have moved in! Work started this week on our new playground at Tiny Town. Our new playground will feature a water course, mud pit and yarning circle, as well as new climbing challenges for our children. We have engaged a specialised design and construction company who specialises in creating natural outdoor play environments fostering natural learning and building confidence in young children. Sensory play will be a benefit of our new playground. It has been shown to support neural development, improve motor skills, problem solving and social interaction. We think the children are going to love all the new sights, smells and textures in their new playground, and they are already taking a keen interest in all the activity.
