Uniting Education Family Day Care has received multiple nods in this year’s Excellence in Family Day Care Awards – including a nomination for ‘Service of the Year’ and a national finalist position in the ‘Educators’ category for Tracey Brock, Uniting Education Family Day Care Educator.
With Family Day Care Australia (FDCA) receiving over 2,650 nominations for service and educators, this is wonderful recognition for the staff and families of UE Family Day Care.
Andrew Paterson, Chief Executive Officer of FDCA, said the awards programs is a central part of their work in positively positioning family day care as an option of choice in early childhood education.
“It’s an important opportunity to acknowledge the incredible contribution that family day care educators make to families and communities across Australia,” he said.
“[A] nomination is a reflection of the crucial role [a service] plays in delivering quality outcomes for children.”
The winners will be announced at the FDCA 2018 National Conference Gala Dinner in September.
