Who are we?

Uniting Family Day Care Gympie offers childcare options for families who prefer a smaller childcare environment in a local educator’s home.  We offer childcare in Gympie, Nanango, Kilkivan and Mary Valley.  

With only 7 children in total, and a maximum of 4 children under school age, this  allows for greater flexibility, diversity and tailoring of care to your child’s unique needs. 

It may include 

  • Care for children aged 0-12 in small mixed groups 
  • Care at an hourly rate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Full time care
  • Part time care
  • Before and after school care
  • 24 hour care
  • Casual/On Call care
  • School holiday care

Laurel Place Gympie

Provides counselling and support regarding sexual violence for adults, young people and children, up to 18 years, and  counselling for non-offending supporters, and children 0-12 years with sexual behaviours.

Helps young people aged 12-25 who are going through a tough time. We can help with mental health, physical health, education and employment services, and alcohol and other drug services.

Suncoast Cooloola Outreach Prevention and Education (SCOPE)

Provides domestic and family violence counselling, group work, community education, training, and can support families working with other agencies.

North Coast Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health (NCACCH)

Provides access to: Dental, physiotherapy, dietician/nutritionist, counselling, podiatry and GP’s. Men’s and Women’s groups, Mums & Bubs program, breast screening and well persons health check day.

Australian Breastfeeding Association

Australia’s largest breastfeeding information and support service. Breastfeeding is a practical, learned skill and ABA helps more than 80 000 mothers each year. ABA also provides up-to-date information and continuing education for thousands of health professionals working with mothers and babies.

Cooloola Aboriginal Services Inc (CASI)

This organisation provides culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in the Cooloola region. Information, advocacy and support for families on health, education, employment, legal issues, community events and work-related programs.

Early Years Family Hub

The Hub provides free independent confidential advice for parents, grandparents, or carers regarding parenting and child-rearing issues. The service provides information, resources and referrals to appropriate Gympie family support services.

Gympie Oral Health Services

Oral health services are provided to people who meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland. Approximately 40% of the total population of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service is eligible for public sector oral health care.
