Uniting Early Learning Toowong
We help your child grow in a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment.

Help your child build a strong foundation for learning and life at Uniting Early Learning Toowong. Located on the doorstep of Toowong Village, our centre offers a welcoming, inclusive space where every child’s voice is heard. We proudly offer a Bilingual program where children learn using both Auslan (Australian Sign Language) and spoken English.
In our centre, hearing, deaf and hard of hearing children learn and play side by side, supported by both deaf and hearing educators who model communication in many forms. This inclusive approach ensures every child feels valued, confident, and connected from their very first day. Children gain the opportunity to express themselves, build meaningful friendships, and be part of a community that celebrates diversity.
Our expansive natural playground invites children to explore, experiment, and discover more about their world. Indoors, light-filled rooms and engaging resources provide a safe and stimulating environment that encourages creativity and curiosity.
Experienced educators guide each child through this important stage of development, inspiring a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
If you’re looking for child care in Toowong, Uniting Early Learning Toowong is a place where your family can feel supported, included, and at home. Come and experience the warmth and connection of our community.

Our Educators

Michelle Bromage has a strong passion for working with children and understands the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”. She is dedicated to being a part of that village, alongside our Educators.
Michelle brings over 20 years of experience in childcare, starting as supporting educator while studying for her Certificate 3 and then working her way to 2IC and Educational Leader role.
She says, “I am committed to supporting and nurturing the team of Educators as we collaborate together encouraging your children to grow through our inclusive and play-based environment.”

Our Commitment
UEL Toowong
While close to the city, our children explore a large, natural outdoor environment with mud pit, chickens, sand pits and vegetable garden, options for climbing, balancing, dangling and sliding. Indoors we have created a home-like feel with thrifted furniture, “real” things, rugs and cushions.
We are an inclusive community with a unique program to support children who are deaf and hard of hearing and ensure they have the same access to Kindergarten learning as hearing children. Our whole centre learns Auslan and we all benefit from learning from each other.
All our age groups enjoy the outdoor space together and form friendships. Older children lead and guide the younger, and younger children can engage with the more advanced activities. Siblings can play together, as they would at home.
As a team we recognise that best practice is always evolving and we look to innovative and emerging information to inform what we do.
