Located on the doorstep of Toowong Village and set in a beautifully renovated Queenslander, Uniting Early Learning Toowong is an engaging Brisbane child care centre where your child can play, learn and grow. We offer a Bilingual Bicultural Program in Kindergarten for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
Our expansive natural playground gives children the chance to explore and learn about their world together. Experienced educators will guide your child through this important time in their development as they become a lifelong learner.

Children of all ages can get their hands dirty through risky, messy, creative play outdoors! We also have two cosy indoor spaces (birth – 2.5 years and 2.5 – 5 years) with real furniture, cups and cutlery so your preschool child can feel at home.

Our Educators
Our Centre Director Karishma holds a Diploma in Children Services. She is an experienced educator having worked in the Early Childhood sector since 2004. She believes that the relationships between educators, families and children are vital to providing quality care and education.
Our multicultural team of qualified educators are passionate about play-based learning and creating a warm, welcoming, nurturing environment for your child. We are proud of them as they strive to take part in continuous growth and development opportunities as professionals and help us provide a safe, rich, meaningful and motivating program for each child.
Our Commitment
UEL Toowong
While close to the city, our children explore a large, natural outdoor environment with mud pit, chickens, sand pits and vegetable garden, options for climbing, balancing, dangling and sliding. Indoors we have created a home-like feel with thrifted furniture, “real” things, rugs and cushions.
We are an inclusive community with a unique program to support children who are deaf and hard of hearing and ensure they have the same access to Kindergarten learning as hearing children. Our whole centre learns Auslan and we all benefit from learning from each other.
All our age groups enjoy the outdoor space together and form friendships. Older children lead and guide the younger, and younger children can engage with the more advanced activities. Siblings can play together, as they would at home.
As a team we recognise that best practice is always evolving and we look to innovative and emerging information to inform what we do.
