What is In Home Child Care?

The In Home Child Care service is an early childhood program for children aged up to 12 who, due to their geographical location, or other identified need, cannot access mainstream early childcare services. You may be entitled to government assistance to access this service.

This service aims to provide an alternative to long day care, family day care, and before and after school care, which would be available in more urban areas, and is delivered to your child on your property.

Our In Home Care Facilitators work closely with you to appoint a qualified early learning professional and will also negotiate the right hours for the educator to work with your children. Once the educator is on board, the same Facilitator will carry out their induction and keep in regular contact to ensure your family is happy with the arrangements. In most cases the educator lives on your property, so you would need to be able to provide safe and comfortable accommodation, as well as transport to and from the property.
