Looking for kindy or child care in Rockhampton? At Uniting Early Learning Illoura we encourage positive relationships and independence to help your child develop their full potential. Our program includes self-initiated play, individually based play and learning and age-appropriate resources for children from six weeks to five years of age. Our staff support and encourage individual children’s goals.

Our service features

  • Welcoming indoor learning spaces. Our three rooms have names of Aboriginal origin: Amarco, a beautiful place, Cooinda, a happy place and Ky-yee-bah, a place of games.

Our Educators

Director Erin Walker has been at Illoura for 16 years. She is passionate about creating an engaging environment where children can be who they want to be, a place where they will feel heard, safe, valued and loved. Her favourite part of the job? “I love watching the children grow and reach milestones. I love Illoura and how it feels like a family, a special place that is a home away from home for us all”

UEL Illoura’s long-serving, qualified educators from a diverse range of cultures are all involved in professional development plans, with some educators undertaking further studies so that they continue to learn and grow too!
