Uniting Early Learning Illoura is a small, not-for-profit, community-based early learning centre where children feel safe, supported, and truly at home.

With just 50 places, our centre offers a calm, connected environment that feels more like a close-knit community than a traditional childcare service. Families seeking smaller childcare in Rockhampton value our home-like setting, where children are truly known and supported.

Our Educators

Madonna Offord, Centre Director at Uniting Early Learning Illoura, brings over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about fostering an inclusive, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and loved. Madonna shares, “I enjoy meeting families and helping them find care where their children will feel secure and loved. I love the children in my care, and the love they show every day when spending time with us is incredibly rewarding. I also deeply appreciate our staff, who go above and beyond to help our team succeed.

UEL Illoura’s long-serving, qualified educators from a diverse range of cultures are all involved in professional development plans, with some educators undertaking further studies so that they continue to learn and grow too!
