Help your child thrive with College Care — offering quality Before School, After School, and Vacation Care for students attending The Lakes College.

Children enjoy a safe, welcoming space where their ideas, interests, and friendships are nurtured. Our flexible, play-based program includes cooking, crafts, sports, games, and quiet time to relax after a busy school day.

Our service features

College Care offers a safe, welcoming space where children can unwind, play, and connect before and after school, as well as during school holidays.

Our play-based program is designed to support wellbeing, creativity, and fun. Each session includes a variety of engaging activities such as:

• Cooking, arts and crafts, sports, and group games

• Time to relax with friends or explore quiet interests

• Flexible routines that respond to children’s ideas and choices

We offer:

• Care for 5 years to 13 year old students attending The Lakes College
  

• Vacation Care during school holidays
  

• Nutritious breakfast, snacks and afternoon tea
  

• Child Care Subsidy (CCS) eligible programs
  

• Caring, qualified educators

Access to school ovals, courts, and outdoor spaces.

College Care provides families with peace of mind and children with a place to belong.

Our Educators

With nearly seven years of experience in the OSHC sector, College Care Coordinator Benjamin brings a strong sense of purpose and a deep commitment to nurturing young minds. Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and a Certificate IV in Criminal Justice, Benjamin initially set out to support children in the youth justice system. However, after stepping into a role in before and after school care, he discovered his true passion—working directly with children in a setting where he could make a meaningful daily impact.

“Building genuine connections with children and families is the most rewarding part of what we do,” Benjamin shares. “Helping a child feel confident at school or easing their transition into the home environment is something I’ll always value.”

Having progressed from Educator to Area Manager, Benjamin continues to be inspired by the relationships he’s formed along the way. “There’s nothing quite like seeing a child years later, still remembering something you taught them in Prep. Those moments are reminders that this isn’t just a job—it’s a lifelong journey.”

Step 3: Confirmation

If you asked for a permanent spot, we’ll check availability and email you an offer if there’s a place. Accept the offer and complete the enrolment form online to secure your child’s spot.
